What Were Seeking:
Valid Occupational Therapist licensure for California Proven experience working within schools, ideally with K-8th grade populations Strong understanding of IEP documentation, evaluations, and therapy implementation specific to educational environments Excellent communication skills for collaborating with teachers, families, and support staff Ability to adapt to a diverse caseload, providing both direct therapy and consultative services
Role Expectations:
Provide high-quality occupational therapy services to students in grades K-8 Assess students functional abilities within the classroom and develop individualized treatment plans Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to contribute to IEP meetings and progress reporting Deliver both direct and consultative interventions aligned with each students educational goals Maintain timely, thorough documentation of all services provided Support classroom staff with strategies and accommodations to enhance student participation Effectively manage your schedule to cover leaves and meet caseload needs As a valued professional in this full-time, contract role, youll make a real difference for students and staff alike during an essential period of the school year.
