Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
Valid Occupational Therapy licensure in California Previous experience in school settings or with pediatric populations Strong background in healthcare, school-based, or home health OT Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
Assess students' needs and establish effective treatment goals Deliver direct therapeutic services individually or in small groups Develop intervention strategies and adapt activities for student success Consult regularly with teachers, staff, and families to support progress Maintain thorough documentation, progress reports, and compliance with all regulations Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams Educate staff and families on therapeutic methods and at-home strategies Travel as needed between school sites
