Key Qualifications:

Must hold a valid Occupational Therapist license in California Previous experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred Skilled in assessment, intervention planning, and delivering direct therapy services to students Ability to document treatment effectively and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Strong communication and organizational skills Flexible to adapt to different school environments and caseloads as assignments are finalized

Core Responsibilities:

Provide assessment, consultation, and direct therapy for students as part of their IEP services Develop individualized treatment plans aimed at increasing students success in academic and daily life activities Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and related service providers to tailor interventions that promote student progress Serve multiple sites, adapting therapy sessions to the needs of diverse school communities Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings and team consultations as required
