Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into an impactful opportunity providing Occupational Therapy support within a local school setting for the upcoming 2026-2027 academic year. This contract role involves working 20-30 hours each week, supporting students in their daily learning journey and helping them achieve their fullest potential. Your expertise in pediatric Occupational Therapy will foster student growth and participation in the classroom and beyond. You'll collaborate with passionate educators and families, delivering essential services that make a lasting difference.
Desired Qualifications:
Active Occupational Therapist license in California Previous OT experience in a school or pediatric environment Solid understanding of IEP processes and documentation Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent interpersonal abilities for student, staff, and family collaboration Flexibility to adapt treatment plans according to student progress and needs
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments to determine student needs and develop targeted intervention plans Deliver individual and group therapy sessions within the educational environment Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for compliance and best practices Participate in IEP meetings; communicate findings and progress to staff and families Offer strategies and tools to promote learning, participation, and independence for diverse learners Consult regularly with teachers to incorporate OT strategies into classroom routines This contract-based position provides a rewarding work schedule with hours tailored to your availability, ensuring a positive work-life balance across the school year.
