Qualifications & Experience:

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Current, valid OT licensure in California Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting strongly preferred Familiarity with IEP process and documentation standards Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Commitment to evidence-based, student-centered practice Ability to collaborate easily with multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify students' needs Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy plans in line with IEP goals Engage students in creative and effective therapeutic activities addressing fine/gross motor skills, sensory integration, and daily living skills Maintain accurate records and progress notes in accordance with school and regulatory guidelines Participate in IEP meetings as a knowledgeable resource and advocate for student needs Educate teachers and caregivers on strategies and adaptations for classroom and home Adjust interventions based on ongoing assessment and team input This contract opportunity allows for professional growth and the chance to develop valuable school-based practice skills in a collaborative setting.
