Key Qualifications:

Current licensure or certification as an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Demonstrated experience in school-based OT or COTA roles Strong communication and collaborative skills for working with students, staff, and families Knowledge of IEP processes and ability to contribute meaningfully to student evaluations and goal-setting Commitment to evidence-based, student-centered therapy practices

Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments and develop individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs in school environments Deliver direct therapy sessions, monitor progress, and adjust interventions as necessary Consult and collaborate with educators, school staff, and families to integrate therapeutic strategies into classroom routines Maintain clear and accurate documentation according to school and regulatory standards Participate actively in IEP meetings and provide input on student goals and supports
