Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students as a part-time Occupational Therapist supporting school-based programs near Arvada, CO. Desired Qualifications:
Active Occupational Therapist license in Colorado Prior experience within a school or pediatric setting preferred Solid understanding of IEPs, goal writing, and data-driven interventions Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments for students referred for services Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans, integrating into each student's educational environment Provide direct intervention and consultative support, adapting sessions to suit a variety of unique learning needs Collaborate with faculty and staff to promote functional student outcomes in areas such as fine motor skills, sensory processing, and self-care Maintain accurate and compliant documentation, progress notes, and ongoing communication with parents and team members Participate in IEP meetings and contribute insights to develop the best support strategies for each student Experience the rewards of school-based therapy with a schedule designed for better work-life balance.
