Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Make a difference supporting students as an Occupational Therapist in a vibrant educational environment near Aurora, CO! This onsite contract opportunity runs from November 1st through May 21, 2027, with a consistent schedule of three days per week. Collaborate with dedicated educators to help children achieve their developmental and academic goals.
Requirements:
Valid Occupational Therapist license CDE credential required; candidates with an active CDE application and proof will be considered Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Passion for working with children in an educational context Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, supporting their participation in school routines and daily activities Evaluate students' needs using standardized assessments and clinical observation Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop educational strategies and accommodations Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEPs Document services and progress according to regulatory guidelines Deliver consultative support to staff to promote positive outcomes for students This is an onsite role at a supportive prep academy, offering the opportunity to grow professionally while positively affecting students' lives.
