Job Description

Make an impact in a thriving school environment by providing dedicated occupational therapy support to students. This contract role offers the opportunity to work directly with children, contributing to their developmental growth and academic success. The position is based onsite just outside Aurora, CO, and runs from November 1st through May 21, 2027, ensuring job stability across multiple school years. Enjoy a part-time schedule of three days per weekan ideal balance for work and personal life.
Key Qualifications:
Hold or actively apply for a valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license; applicants must provide proof of application if not yet certified. Experience working as an Occupational Therapist within a school setting is highly preferred. Strong ability to collaborate with educational teams, teachers, and families. Commitment to fostering independence, improving life skills, and enhancing student participation. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Your Responsibilities:
Deliver targeted occupational therapy services to students with varying needs, supporting both IEP and 504 plans. Develop and implement individualized interventions to address fine motor, sensory integration, and daily living skills. Conduct student assessments and contribute to the development of educational goals. Document progress and participate in IEP meetings as a valued member of the multidisciplinary team. Provide consultation and training to school staff and caregivers to promote generalization of skills.
