Occupational Therapist School Setting in Brighton, CO

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Occupational Therapist specializing in school-based therapy to join a full-time contract position in Brighton, CO for the 2026/2027 school year. This role involves providing onsite occupational therapy services to a large caseload within a busy educational setting, supporting the developmental and functional goals of students.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and interventions in a school environment Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Utilize therapeutic techniques to improve students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities Manage and prioritize a caseload of 100+ students, with assistance from a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Provide ongoing documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state regulations

Preferred Qualifications:

Licensed Occupational Therapist with relevant school-based experience Knowledge of educational regulations and student-centered therapeutic practices Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team Strong organizational and communication skills Experience working with large caseloads in school settings

Location:

Brighton, Colorado (Onsite) This full-time contract position offers a competitive rate of $90/hr and an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic school environment.
