About the Opportunity As an Occupational Therapist, you'll play an important role in helping residents build confidence, restore daily living skills, and maintain the greatest level of independence possible. You'll have the opportunity to develop individualized treatment plans, work closely with residents and their families, and collaborate with a supportive healthcare team. Your day will involve evaluating residents' needs, designing engaging therapeutic activities, and helping individuals work toward practical goals that improve their quality of life. From helping residents regain skills like dressing, bathing, and eating to recommending adaptive equipment and educating caregivers, your expertise will make a lasting difference. What You'll Do In this hands-on role, you'll conduct patient assessments, review medical histories, and develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each resident's abilities and goals. You'll provide therapeutic interventions that promote mobility, coordination, and independence while monitoring progress and adjusting care plans as needed. You'll also collaborate with families and caregivers to ensure residents receive consistent support, recommend assistive devices and adaptive techniques when appropriate, and provide guidance and supervision to Occupational Therapy Assistants and aides. What We're Looking For Current, valid Occupational Therapist license in Colorado. Minimum of one year of Occupational Therapy experience. A compassionate, patient-focused approach and a genuine interest in helping others.
