Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic school-based opportunity providing occupational therapy services in a supportive academic environment just outside Denver, CO. This contract role is ideal for Occupational Therapists passionate about fostering students' skills and independence within a collaborative onsite setting. With a consistent three-day-per-week schedule, you'll make a significant impact while enjoying work-life balance.
Key Qualifications:
Current Occupational Therapist license, with eligibility or application for CDE required (proof of application is acceptable) Experience supporting K-12 students in school-based settings Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities Commitment to onsite service provision throughout the contract period Ability to develop and implement individualized intervention plans
Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy services to students, addressing motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and adaptive strategies to support academic participation Conduct thorough evaluations and interpret findings to inform IEP goals Collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student success Maintain detailed, accurate session documentation and ensure compliance with all school and state regulations Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to intervention strategies Enjoy an assignment that offers variety, professional development, and the satisfaction of helping students achieve their optimal potential.
