Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Embark on an exciting contract opportunity as an Occupational Therapist supporting students in a vibrant school environment. Located near Englewood, CO, this onsite position offers the chance to make a lasting difference in the lives of children by fostering their independence and academic success.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) licensure, or proof of application required At least one year of experience working as a school-based Occupational Therapist is preferred Strong skills developing and implementing individualized strategies for students with various needs Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Enthusiasm for contributing to school-wide initiatives focused on student engagement
Responsibilities:
Provide individualized and group occupational therapy to students with diverse needs Conduct thorough assessments to inform goal-setting and intervention planning Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to support student success Participate in IEP meetings and document progress toward goals Utilize evidence-based practices and adapt interventions for maximum student benefit Maintain up-to-date and accurate records in compliance with school and state requirements Enjoy a consistent schedule of three days per week in a supportive, resource-rich school setting from November 1, 2024 through May 21, 2027.
