Qualifications:
Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) Previous experience working in school environments strongly preferred Familiarity with IEPs and school-based therapy documentation Strong communication and collaboration skills Commitment to evidence-based practices and ongoing professional development
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough assessments to identify students' fine motor, sensory, and adaptive needs within the educational environment Write, implement, and update individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to integrate therapy strategies into classroom activities Provide both direct and consultative services to support students' academic participation Maintain thorough and timely records; participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary teams Educate staff and families on techniques, equipment, and strategies to promote independence Stay current with best practices in pediatric and school-based OT This position offers a chance to work with supportive professionals in a welcoming community, surrounded by the natural beauty of Colorado.
