Key Qualifications & Experience:

Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist Experience providing OT services in a school setting is highly preferred Solid understanding of IEPs and the special education process Ability to conduct thorough assessments and develop customized intervention plans Strong communication skills for collaborating with teachers, staff, and families Flexibility, creativity, and adaptability to the unique needs of each student

Role Responsibilities:

Evaluate students motor, sensory, and adaptive needs within the educational environment Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based OT interventions Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate recommendations into classroom routines Participate in IEP meetings, share progress updates, and document services according to guidelines Provide consultative support and training to staff and parents Support students in developing skills for increased independence, participation, and success This position offers professional growth opportunities and a chance to positively impact school communities.
