An exciting opportunity is available for a contract Occupational Therapist with school-based experience to support K-12 learners near beautiful Grand Junction, Colorado. This role lets you engage with students from diverse backgrounds, helping them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Responsibilities include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify students functional abilities and challenges Developing and implementing individualized intervention plans Collaborating with teachers, support staff, and families to facilitate student participation in school routines and activities Delivering direct and consultative occupational therapy services designed to promote independence in the educational environment Monitoring progress, adjusting interventions, and maintaining accurate records in accordance with state and federal guidelines Participating in IEP meetings and contributing therapy goals tailored to each students needs Preferred qualifications and skills: Masters degree in Occupational Therapy Valid state licensure (or eligibility to obtain) Previous experience in a school setting is highly desirable Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to adapt interventions to a variety of age groups and learning abilities Dedicated to fostering a positive, inclusive environment for students This contract position offers the adventure of working in a vibrant region, along with professional growth opportunities and the satisfaction of supporting students development.
