Job Description

Pediatric in-home Occupational Therapist Scarlet Larkin Inc Longmont, CO Job Details Part-time | Full-time $65 - $80 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Continuing education credits Mileage reimbursement Health insurance 401(k) Paid time off 401(k) matching Professional development assistance Flexible schedule Qualifications Experience working with children Occupational Therapy License Full Job Description Pediatric Occupational Therapist opening with Scarlet Larkin Inc, Pediatric Therapies We have openings for English-speaking and bilingual Spanish providers. We are a 28-year-old private practice that focuses on public health. We primarily serve young children on Medicaid, in their natural environment of home or childcare. Our interests include poverty, global child development, and care of the parent/caregiver. As healthcare providers, we strive to develop the self-care skills that allow us to remain "fresh" in a service field across a professional lifetime. Currently our group is comprised of 2 OTs, 10 SLPs and 2 RNs. We are excited to hire our first PT this year! About half of our staff is bilingual Spanish. We have worked hard to establish ourselves as a premier Colorado Medicaid setting. We were the first private practice to contract with CHP+ in Colorado. Over the years, we have influenced Colorado Medicaid policy at the state level. We offer paid, weekly, face-to-face mentoring and support during the hire/onboarding process. Many professionals need initial support around the birth-to-three population and the home health model, both areas of expertise for us. There is access within our group to experienced, pediatric OTs. We serve our families in-home and receive our patient referrals from a combination of sources. Our patients (and you may) live in Weld, Larimer, Boulder, Jefferson, Broomfield, Denver, or Adams counties. Most of us serve the residential areas in our home counties. Our office is located in the director's home, in Longmont, Colorado, with a garden full of flowers/veggies, an apple tree, and a fountain. We strive to create a foundation of peace to support us while we help families through sometimes challenging times. Our goal as a group is to offer premier, state-of-the-art services to a population that is finding increasingly limited access to services. We offer merit-based raises. We value new employees for their fresh perspective. Once a quarter we pay ourselves time "off" to come together for mutual support. We read research articles, have lunch, and typically invite a guest speaker. These quarterly inservice days provide the CEUs required for DORA and ASHA maintenance during paid time. Additional funds are available for other types of continuing education. All evaluation and therapy materials are purchased by the practice including personal and professional liability insurance. Our salary/benefits package is tailored to your experience and expertise. It includes paid vacation and sick time, a 401K plan, a health insurance match and flexible scheduling. We welcome you to apply and consider joining our close-knit team by submitting your cover letter and resume. You may also learn a bit more about us on our FB page: Scarlet Larkin Inc Pediatric Therapies. Lastly, our data demonstrates that we have the cutest kids on the planet. Come learn, have fun, and play with us!
