Job Description

Make a real difference working in an educational setting as an Occupational Therapist (OT) on a contract basis near Littleton, CO. In this rewarding position, youll collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support students growth, helping them build essential skills for greater independence in the classroom and beyond.
Qualifications:
Active and valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Colorado Previous experience in school-based or pediatric occupational therapy preferred Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to adapt strategies for diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations and assess students physical, emotional, and developmental capabilities Develop individualized treatment plans and participate in IEP meetings Implement evidence-based therapy interventions for students with varying abilities Consult and collaborate with educators and families to carry out therapeutic strategies in the classroom environment Maintain accurate, timely documentation, records, and progress reports in compliance with local and state regulations Provide support and training for school staff as they integrate occupational therapy recommendations into daily classroom activities
