8726016-80840 Job Description Step into an impactful role supporting students growth and development as an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in an educational environment. This contract opportunity is based near Usaf Academy, CO, and focuses on delivering essential services to help students flourish both academically and personally.
Desired Qualifications:
Active state licensure as an Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Recent experience in school-based OT or COTA settings Strong communication and documentation skills Ability to adapt and collaborate with teachers, families, and other clinicians Knowledge of IEP processes and familiarity with techniques for supporting various learning abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Provide individualized and group therapy to students according to their IEPs Assess, plan, and implement intervention strategies to enhance students daily school participation Maintain clear and organized treatment records Consult and collaborate with school staff and families Contribute to IEP meetings, providing expertise and recommendations Assist in developing classroom strategies and adaptive materials to foster student success In addition to a competitive hourly rate, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package including vision, dental, and health coverage, plus 401(k) matching.
