Job Description

Make a meaningful impact supporting students development as a contracted Occupational Therapist in a welcoming educational setting near Arvada, CO. This in-person opportunity offers a consistent, part-time schedule across the academic year, allowing you to focus on tailored student care and professional growth within a collaborative school environment.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
Active OT license required; candidates who have applied for CDE (Colorado Department of Education) certification will be considered with proof of application Previous experience in school-based OT or pediatric settings is highly desired Strong communication and documentation skills Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and other support staff Committed to fostering student independence and participation in the school environment
Primary Responsibilities:
Assess students functional abilities and develop individualized intervention plans Deliver therapy services in line with students IEPs, focusing on fine motor, sensory processing, and daily living skills Maintain accurate records and contribute to IEP meetings Educate and provide resources to teachers and families regarding strategies to support student success Adapt interventions to meet the diverse needs of a school-based caseload
