This part-time, contract opportunity allows you to make a significant difference in the lives of children by helping them build essential life and learning skills. Key Qualifications:
Current and valid Occupational Therapy (OT) license required Experience in school-based occupational therapy preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, educators, and families Demonstrated ability to assess student needs and create individualized intervention plans Creative problem-solver with a passion for working alongside diverse learners
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct OT services to a caseload of approximately 20 students onsite Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop goals tailored to each childs needs Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to facilitate student success Document student progress and maintain compliance with all regulations and school protocols Implement evidence-based interventions to enhance students academic engagement and independence Participate in IEP meetings and provide input for individualized education plans In this role, youll enjoy a predictable schedule working 1.5 days per week (16 hours) during the academic year, allowing for excellent work-life balance and the opportunity to pursue professional growth.
