Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role serving students across multiple school sites as a dedicated Occupational Therapist. This contract position, running from late August through November, offers the chance to provide vital support and services district wide, making a difference in a vibrant educational setting near West Hartford, CT.

Key Qualifications:

Current, active Occupational Therapist (OT) license for Connecticut Previous experience working in school settings is strongly preferred Ability to adapt to various school environments while managing a district-wide caseload Strong communication, organization, and time management skills Flexibility to work onsite across multiple locations within the district

Core Responsibilities:

Deliver occupational therapy services to students based on individual IEPs and established goals Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to optimize student engagement and achievement Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop treatment plans, and maintain accurate documentation Travel between school sites as required to meet the needs of the district's students Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and contribute expertise to support holistic student development What to
