Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract assignment supporting students' development and well-being through specialized occupational therapy services. This OT opportunity in a school setting offers a full-time schedule, with 37.5 hours per week from November 1st to February 12th, covering a maternity leave. You'll collaborate with educational teams and families to provide assessments, intervention, and strategies that foster student independence and success in the academic environment. Utilize your expertise in school-based OT, healthcare, and teletherapy to make a significant difference during this assignment. You'll work with diverse student populations, addressing fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities to help learners reach their fullest potential.

Qualifications & Experience:

Valid Occupational Therapy license Previous experience in school settings preferred Familiarity with teletherapy platforms Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to create tailored intervention plans and documentation

Responsibilities Include:

Conducting evaluations and re-evaluations for students referred for OT Developing individualized treatment plans and goals that align with students' educational needs Providing direct and consultative OT services in-person and virtually as needed Collaborating with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams Monitoring student progress, updating plans, and maintaining accurate records Supporting modifications and accommodations in the classroom environment
