Job Description

Empower student growth and success as an onsite Occupational Therapist providing vital support across elementary, middle, and high school settings in the Wilmington, DE area. This contract opportunity offers three dynamic positions beginning August 2026 and extending through early June 2027, with full-time, Monday-Friday schedules. Work collaboratively within dedicated school communities to help students reach their greatest potential through therapeutic intervention, tailored programming, and compassionate, evidence-based support.

Qualifications & Experience:

Active Delaware Occupational Therapist license (must be provided with your resume for consideration) Previous experience (preferred) working with children and adolescents in school-based or pediatric environments Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills Candidates must cover the $85 CBC fingerprinting fee (confirmation of this is required) COTAs are not eligible for these positions due to supervision requirements

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to diverse K-12 caseloads, following students' IEP goals Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans to address fine motor, sensory, and functional needs Document progress and communicate with staff, parents, and other multidisciplinary team members Support students in accessing their full academic and social potential in the school environment Split caseloads across designated buildings as necessary (positions include elementary-only and split sites)
