Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity for the upcoming 26/27 school year, working full-time as an essential therapy resource for students and their families. This dynamic role blends the unique aspects of occupational therapy across educational and healthcare environments, supporting growth and independence for learners. Ideal candidates thrive in collaborative settings, showcase a deep understanding of best practices in school-based and home health occupational therapy, and excel in communication with families, staff, and students.
Qualifications:
Active Delaware occupational therapy license (OT DE) Experience or proficiency in OT for school settings, home health, and healthcare environments Strong organizational skills and adaptability within diverse settings Excellent interpersonal skills working as part of a multidisciplinary team Commitment to fostering student progress and independence
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive OT services for students, both within the school setting and, as needed, at home Assess, design, and implement individualized plans to address students' unique needs Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to ensure holistic care Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to the IEP process Support students' functional, social, and academic growth throughout the school year As part of your contract, enjoy weekly pay for both direct and indirect services at the same rate, as well as options for health and life insurance and a 401(k) plan with company matching to help you plan for the future.
