Job Description

Encompass Health seeks an Occupational Therapy Supervisor to lead a team of OTs in our inpatient rehabilitation hospital. In this role, you will provide direct patient care while supervising therapists and assistants, coordinating interdisciplinary treatment plans, and ensuring exceptional, patient-centered rehab outcomes. You will champion clinical best practices, regulatory compliance, and quality improvement initiatives, while fostering a nurturing, dynamic environment aligned with Encompass Health's mission of high-quality, rewarding patient care and offering clear paths for professional growth. Responsibilities Supervise and mentor occupational therapists and assistants in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. Oversee individualized, evidence-based occupational therapy treatment plans to optimize functional outcomes. Coordinate care with an interdisciplinary rehab team to ensure patient-centered, goal-driven plans. Monitor documentation, billing, and regulatory compliance in alignment with Encompass Health standards. Lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety, satisfaction, and clinical outcomes. Provide direct patient care as needed, modeling best practices and clinical excellence. Support staff onboarding, education, and competency development in a nurturing environment. Assist with staffing, scheduling, and workload management to maintain high-quality service delivery.
