1 Description American Traveler is hiring an Inpatient Occupational Therapist with acute care, ortho/trauma, and stroke experience for a hospital's inpatient rehabilitation unit. Details Inpatient rehab unit setting with occasional floating to outpatient Day shift, 5x8 hour schedule from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Caseload of 8-10 patients per 8-hour day Solo OT coverage required on weekends Requirements Active Occupational Therapist license in the State of Florida required, if applicable Bachelor's of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Minimum 3 years of experience preferred Competency and experience in acute care, ortho/trauma, and stroke required Current BLS certification via AHA required HCP-CPR certification required Successful completion of a Florida AHCA Level 2 background screening required, including fingerprint-based state and federal criminal history checks and abuse registry review Additional Information Perform clinical evaluations and establish individualized treatment programs Provide a wide variety of treatment procedures for patients with diverse disabilities, injuries, and diseases to maximize functional outcomes Smoke-free facility Local candidates considered within a 60-mile radius
