Key Qualifications & Skills:

Active or pending state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Experience working in a school or pediatric setting preferred Strong understanding of IEP development and progress monitoring Effective communication skills for partnering with staff, students, and families Flexibility and adaptability to work across multiple classrooms or grade levels Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive learning environment

Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments to evaluate students' fine motor, sensory, and functional abilities within the educational setting Develop and implement individualized OT treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary IEP teams Deliver direct therapy services and consult with educators to support students' participation and success Document interventions, progress, and outcomes in accordance with school and regulatory guidelines Participate in IEP meetings, providing recommendations and ongoing support Deliver training and resources to teachers and staff as needed
