Treeline Enrichment provides nature-connected occupational therapy services for children at our indoor-outdoor clinic in Lakeland, Florida . Our practice is rooted in the belief that meaningful, child-led experiences in natural environments and with natural materials support regulation, connection, and development in powerful ways. We offer individual services that are strengths-based, relationship-focused, and grounded in sensory integration, developmental, and play-based frameworks. Our work is collaborative and intentionally paced to support both the child and the therapist. We are seeking a pediatric occupational therapist (OTR) who is looking for meaningful, sustainable work in a unique setting. This position is designed to grow over time , beginning with a schedule 1 day a week and the potential to expand as caseload develops. Unlike high-volume therapy models, our schedule is intentionally structured to allow therapists to be fully present, prepared, and regulated for each session. What Makes This Role Different At Treeline, we have designed our schedule to support clinical excellence and therapist sustainability within a dynamic indoor-outdoor therapy environment. Therapy sessions are 60 minutes in length Each session is followed by a 15 to 30 minute built-in transition period This time is used for documentation, parent communication, setup/cleanup, and regulation Therapists are not expected to take work home This structure allows therapists to fully complete their work within the workday and show up present, prepared, and regulated for each client.

Availability Requirement:

Due to family scheduling needs, this role requires availability during after-school hours (typically until 6:00 PM) on Mondays with the potential to add Tuesdays and/or Fridays. Responsibilities Provide individualized, nature-connected occupational therapy services Complete initial evaluations and re-evaluations Develop and implement individualized service plans Write daily documentation using an electronic medical record system Complete progress reports and home program recommendations Communicate regularly with families (in person and via phone/email/text) Collaborate with team members and participate in team meetings Support and guide volunteers and/or fieldwork students as appropriate Engage in ongoing professional development Ideal Candidate We are seeking an occupational therapist who: Has experience in pediatric practice and strong clinical reasoning skills Values relationship-based, child-led approaches Is comfortable working with children with a range of needs, including: ASD, ADHD, Sensory processing differences, Anxiety, PDA, and Regulation challenges Is self-directed, organized , and able to work independently Communicates clearly and thoughtfully with families Is passionate about nature , play, and meaningful childhood experiences, and enjoys working across both indoor and outdoor environments Is committed to ongoing personal and professional growth Qualifications Active Florida Occupational Therapist license (OTR required) Current certification with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) Pediatric experience required CPR and First Aid certification Level 2 background screening (or willingness to obtain) Physical & Environmental Requirements Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds Ability to engage in active play, including walking, running, climbing, and navigating varied environments Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor therapy spaces throughout the day Comfortable working outdoors in a variety of typical Florida weather conditions (heat, humidity, light rain) Comfortable using electronic documentation and communication platforms Access to appropriate outdoor gear (e.g., rain jacket, waterproof footwear, etc.) Professional Requirements Maintain active professional liability insurance (individual policy required; Treeline provides general liability coverage) Compensation Treeline Enrichment utilizes a hybrid compensation model designed to support both therapist stability and high-quality services.
