Occupational Therapist Arch Creek Senior Care Services North Miami Beach, FL Job Details Travel healthcare | Part-time | Full-time 1 day ago Qualifications Home health care assistance In-home healthcare experience Care documentation Bachelor's degree Occupational Therapy OTR Occupational therapy in home health Home health agency experience Teaching Full Job Description Overview Professional member of the home health team who delivers services that are designed to enhance the physical and psychosocial functioning of the patient. All services are initiated and provided under the direction of a plan of treatment established by a physician. Evaluations are performed by peers. Responsibilities Assist the physician with the initial evaluation of patient to assess the needs for service and to establish realistic goals. Administer treatment program prescribed by physician. Teach activities of daily living. Provide training in proper use of prosthetic devices and adaptive equipment. Instruct other members of the health care team in maintaining therapeutic, creative and self-care activities. Provide appropriate documentation of service in keeping the agency policies and procedures. Participate in team meetings, case conferences and other assigned meetings. Provides agency with a required license or certification, or necessary information to be able to verify experience. Accepts only those assignments for which she/he is qualified. Complies with all agency policies and procedures. Communicates with agency about any problems or concerns. Complies with the state regulatory act. Monitors and supervises the occupational therapist assistant. Requirements Bachelors degree from an accredited school, meeting the requirements of the American Occupational Therapy Association. Successful completion of National examination for Registered Occupational Therapist (OTP) Minimum of two year home health care experience and one year supervised experience.
