Devoted Physical Therapy is seeking a committed PRN Occupational Therapist to complete Medicare home visits in the Pompano Beach area. We bring the premier outpatient experience directly to the home. Devoted PT is DEVOTED to increasing our patients' independence, restoring their functional mobility, and maximizing their quality of life. We are looking for an Occupational Therapist to act as the patient's partner throughout their rehabilitation journey, ensuring the client functions at their personal best within the spheres of promotion, prevention, diagnosis, and treatment.

Responsibilities:

Identify and meet patients' goals and needs to improve activities of daily living (ADLs) and overall independence. Offer effective treatments that help improve clients' functional mobility and home safety. Reduce the need for medications and provide safe alternatives to surgery through targeted intervention. Develop customized care plans using a variety of evidence-based treatment techniques. Create wellness-oriented programs tailored to patients' specific cognitive and physical needs. Motivate patients during treatment in order to help them function optimally in their home environment. Promote clients' healthy lifestyles by improving strength, coordination, and fine motor skills. Consult and collaborate seamlessly with other health professionals. Evaluate effects, monitor progress, and communicate updates effectively. Complete accurate and timely documentation of patient care services.

Skills & Qualifications:

Master's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy (Required). Valid license to practice Occupational Therapy in the State of Florida (Required). Current CPR Certification (Required). Proven work experience as an Occupational Therapist. Intensive education and clinical expertise in geriatric care. Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities with compassion. Current knowledge of best-practice treatment techniques. Drive to continually learn, grow, and maintain professional behavior. Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
