• Key Responsibilities Evaluate patients' strength, coordination, endurance, mobility, and self-care abilities Assess home environments and recommend safety modifications or adaptive equipment Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with measurable goals Provide therapeutic interventions to improve ADL performance and independence Fabricate splints and provide adaptive, prosthetic, and orthotic training as needed Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment plans and progress Communicate patient updates with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation Participate in care coordination, case conferences, and discharge planning What We're Looking For Compassionate and patient-centered approach Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills Excellent communication and patient education abilities Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently in the field Collaborative team mindset Qualifications Current Florida Occupational Therapist license Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program Minimum 1 year of clinical OT experience Home health experience preferred, but not required Strong knowledge of ADL training, adaptive equipment, and home safety CPR/BLS certification Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
