First Class Therapy Solutions is seeking motivated, professional, and patient-focused Occupational Therapists (OTs) to join our expanding home health therapy network throughout South Florida. First Class Therapy Solutions was built by clinicians with the goal of creating a better experience for therapists, home health agencies, and the patients we serve. In approximately 3½ years, we have grown organically into a network of more than 200 clinicians , and 18 different healthcare organizations have approached us to establish staffing relationships. Our clinicians are not simply sent into the field and left on their own. When questions or challenges arise, there is a team behind you. Responsibilities As an Occupational Therapist , responsibilities may include: Complete comprehensive OT evaluations and reassessments Develop individualized occupational therapy plans of care Establish measurable functional goals based on the patient's needs and priorities Provide therapeutic interventions to improve functional independence Address deficits related to strength, coordination, balance, mobility, endurance, and activity tolerance Provide training in activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs) Provide functional mobility and transfer training as appropriate Assess and address upper-extremity function and coordination Provide home safety assessments and recommend appropriate modifications Recommend and provide training related to adaptive equipment and durable medical equipment Educate patients and caregivers regarding safety, precautions, and strategies to maximize independence Develop and implement individualized treatment interventions Monitor patient response to treatment and modify interventions as clinically appropriate Coordinate care with physicians, nursing, physical therapy, speech therapy, caregivers, and agency personnel Participate in interdisciplinary communication and care coordination Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation Complete reassessments, progress reports, and discharge documentation as required Maintain compliance with professional, agency, state, and federal standards Qualifications Current Occupational Therapist license Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Reliable transportation Professional, dependable, and patient-focused Ability to work independently in the home environment Strong documentation and time-management skills Ability to effectively manage a home health caseload Home health experience preferred, but not required for the right clinician Build the Caseload That Works for You Whether you're looking for: A few additional patients each week Supplemental income A part-time caseload A full-time schedule A concentrated geographic territory The opportunity to maximize your home health earning potential First Class Therapy Solutions offers the flexibility to build a schedule around your professional and personal goals.
