Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students through a pivotal time as an onsite Occupational Therapist. This assignment allows you to make a meaningful impact during a maternity leave coverage from October 16th, 2026 to December 18th, 2026. Working three days per week near Steinhatchee, FL, you'll collaborate with education professionals and use your clinical expertise to enrich student lives.
Desired Qualifications:
Active OT licensure (Florida) Experience in school-based occupational therapy settings Familiarity with best practices in OT for pediatrics Previous work in home health, teletherapy, and broader healthcare OT highly valued Strong communication skills with students, educators, and families Proficiency in developing and tracking individualized treatment goals
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to foster a supportive learning environment Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to promote student success Conduct assessments, document progress, and adjust interventions as needed Provide adaptive strategies and resources for classroom and home use Participate in team meetings, consultations, and IEP development as required With a part-time three-day workweek, this contract position offers a flexible schedule perfect for balancing professional and personal commitments.
