Part-Time or Full-Time | In-Person/Community-Based Position Summary Therapeutic Endeavors, LLC is seeking a compassionate, skilled, and dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our growing therapy team in Tallahassee, Florida. This is an in-person, community-based position providing occupational therapy services to children and families in a variety of settings, including our clinic, schools, daycares, homes, and other community locations throughout the Tallahassee area. The ideal candidate is passionate about working with children, enjoys building meaningful relationships with families, and is comfortable providing therapy in different environments. Our OTs work collaboratively with families, caregivers, educators, and other members of the therapeutic team to help clients develop the skills needed to participate more independently in everyday activities. Responsibilities Provide individualized, evidence-based occupational therapy services to pediatric clients. Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and assessments as appropriate. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on each client's functional needs and goals. Provide direct therapy services in a variety of settings, including: Therapeutic Endeavors' clinic Schools Daycares Clients' homes Community-based locations Address areas such as fine motor skills, visual-motor integration, sensory processing, self-care skills, handwriting, functional participation, and other occupational performance needs. Monitor client progress and modify treatment plans as needed. Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation in the electronic health record (EHR). Communicate regularly with parents, caregivers, teachers, and other members of the client's care team. Participate in interdisciplinary collaboration with speech-language pathologists and other therapy professionals. Provide families with education, strategies, and activities that can support carryover of therapeutic goals outside of sessions. Maintain compliance with Florida Department of Health regulations, professional standards, and insurance requirements. Participate in team meetings, case discussions, professional development, and other clinic initiatives. Maintain a professional, positive, and family-centered approach while representing Therapeutic Endeavors in the community. Qualifications Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Current and valid Florida Occupational Therapist license in good standing. Pediatric experience preferred; school-based, daycare, outpatient, or community-based experience is a plus. Strong clinical reasoning and documentation skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently while also functioning as part of a collaborative therapy team. Comfortable providing services in multiple environments throughout the Tallahassee area. Reliable transportation and ability to travel between client locations as needed. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems preferred. Passion for working with children and supporting families in reaching meaningful functional goals.
