Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with patients to help them regain independence and improve their quality of life. Your expertise in anatomy, physiology, and patient care will be essential in providing effective therapy services.
Duties:
  • Evaluate patients' physical and mental abilities to determine their needs and develop personalized treatment plans
  • Help patients improve their motor skills, coordination, and range of motion through therapeutic exercises and activities
  • Teach patients how to use adaptive equipment and assistive devices to enhance their daily functioning
  • Provide guidance and support to patients in developing strategies for managing activities of daily living
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as speech therapists and case managers, to ensure comprehensive care for patients
  • Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Document patient evaluations, progress notes, and treatment outcomes accurately and timely
Skills:
  • Experience working with kids aged 0-18
  • Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach
  • Knowledge of occupational health principles and practices
  • Proficient in patient care techniques, including assessment, intervention, and evaluation
