Job Description

An exciting contract opportunity is available for a dedicated Occupational Therapist eager to make a difference in elementary education settings. This maternity leave position starts November 2nd and extends through January 29th, with the possibility for an extension through late February. You'll work across two welcoming elementary schools and provide support for one student at a private school, totaling a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours weekly. Your occupational therapy skills will empower young learners to thrive—helping them achieve their potential in both classroom settings and daily activities. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about supporting students and collaborating within a multidisciplinary environment.
Qualifications & Experience:
Hold an active Occupational Therapist (OT) license. Previous experience in school-based OT practice highly preferred. Strong communication and documentation skills. Ability to manage a diverse pediatric caseload effectively. Flexibility to travel between multiple school locations in the area.

Deliver comprehensive OT services to students in elementary school settings. Evaluate students' needs and develop tailored intervention plans. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other team members to support student progress. Maintain documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines.
