Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Active and valid OT license for the state of Georgia Prior experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations, preferably in a school setting Strong communication and organizational abilities Comfortable developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Capability to adapt interventions to a diverse student population
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments to evaluate students' functional abilities and create targeted intervention plans Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students individually or in small groups Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress Maintain thorough, goal-oriented documentation as required by state and school regulations Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights for student growth Offer training and resources to staff and caregivers to optimize student outcomes within the classroom and at home
