This contract opportunity near Macon, GA begins August 3, 2026, and runs through May 28, 2027, offering you consistency throughout the academic year. Work a steady schedule of 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, serving a diverse population of students as a school-based Occupational Therapist. In this pivotal position, youll play an important part in fostering growth and functional independence for students, while primarily overseeing and supporting a team of COTAs. Youll utilize your clinical and interpersonal skills to help guide therapy interventions, evaluate student progress, and collaborate closely with general and special education staff.

Key Qualifications:

Valid Occupational Therapist license/certification in Georgia (OT in GA) Experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred Strong leadership and supervisory skills Effective communicator and collaborator

Role Responsibilities:

Supervise and mentor Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) Conduct evaluations and assessments for students K-12 Develop individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's needs Maintain documentation and contribute to IEP meetings Work with teachers, families, and staff to support student achievement and inclusion
