Job Description

As an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) you work within your ethical scope of practice at all times, under the direct supervision of an Occupational Therapist. They consult with the supervising Occupational Therapist before treating any patient experiencing a change of condition. Instructs rehab aides to carry out appropriate duties to support the provision of Occupational Therapy. They complete all required documentation in a timely manner to include daily encounter notes, contributing to progress reports for allowable payors, and contributes to discharge summaries, and any other Stonehill specific documentation. Performs other duties or special projects as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associates Degree in Occupational Therapy Must possess a current, valid OTA License Positive Attitude Ability to complete required in-service training requirements Must be able to move (walk, bend, stand, sit, push, pull, lift) intermittently throughout the workday
