Position Details:
Onsite, full-time contract roleHours:
37.5-40 hours per week, Monday toFriday Schedule:
8:15 AM to 3:45 PM Immediate start, with contracts running through May 28th, 2027Qualifications:
Current and active Occupational Therapist licensure in Illinois is required Demonstrated experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is strongly preferred Capable of independently managing a dynamic caseload and adapting as new students are referred Collaborative attitude for team-based evaluations and decision-making Excellent communication skills with students, staff, and familiesKey Responsibilities:
Evaluate students in cooperation with the early childhood diagnostic team Plan and deliver occupational therapy interventions tailored to individual student goals Maintain thorough intervention and progress documentation in accordance with school protocols Participate in team meetings to provide professional insights about student needs and progress Support the educational environment by educating staff and families about recommended strategies This is a rewarding opportunity for an OT passionate about working with children, fostering growth, and shaping student success in a supportive school environment.
