Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract An exciting opportunity awaits for a dedicated Occupational Therapist to provide support in a vibrant school environment near Buffalo Grove, IL. This contract role runs from August 12, 2026 through November 3, 2026, offering the chance to work closely with early intervention and elementary-aged students. The position features a manageable caseload, full-time hours, and a consistent weekday schedule, making it ideal for professionals passionate about helping young learners reach their full potential.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
Valid Occupational Therapy license in Illinois Previous experience in a school-based setting Competency working with early childhood (EI) and elementary-aged students Effective communication and collaboration skills Ability to adapt interventions to meet a variety of student needs Strong organizational skills for managing documentation and workload
Responsibilities Include:
Providing direct and consultative OT services to a caseload of approximately 25 students Conducting evaluations and developing individualized intervention plans Collaborating with teachers, families, and other related service providers Monitoring student progress and adjusting interventions as needed Maintaining accurate records in compliance with school and state guidelines Attending relevant meetings and contributing to multidisciplinary teams
Position Details:
