Job Description

Step into an enriching opportunity to work onsite as an Occupational Therapist supporting students in a vibrant elementary school setting. This full-time contract position focuses on delivering essential OT services to students in grades K through 5. Play a key role in helping young learners build vital life skills, supporting their educational journey, and collaborating with dedicated school staff.
Key Qualifications:
Active Occupational Therapist license in Illinois (OT IL License required) Previous experience in a school, pediatric, or healthcare environment is highly valued Strong understanding of school-based OT practices and interventions Excellent communication and documentation skills A genuine commitment to collaborating with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
Evaluate and assess the needs of students with diverse abilities in elementary grade levels Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans tailored to each students goals Provide direct therapeutic interventions in both individual and group settings Participate in IEP meetings and team consultations, delivering ongoing insights and recommendations Document accurate and thorough progress notes and communication with staff and parents Engage actively in professional development opportunities offered throughout the assignment Enjoy a range of benefits designed for travel professionals, including competitive weekly pay, comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance, and a 401(k) retirement plan.
