Job Description

Embark on your next adventure as a school-based Occupational Therapist and make an impact on students' lives in a dynamic educational environment. This onsite contract opportunity offers the chance to work with a diverse caseload of 38 students, including those in the general education setting and a SIP (Structured Individualized Program). Youll collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver therapy services that foster student growth and independence.
Qualifications & Desired Skills:
Active IL Occupational Therapy license required Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly preferred Knowledge of IEP processes and documentation practices Experience supporting both general education and specialized programs like SIP is a plus Flexibility, excellent communication, and teamwork abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct therapy services to students according to individualized education plans (IEPs) Conduct assessments and participate in goal-setting for student progress Develop and implement intervention strategies tailored to support functional and academic skills Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to ensure carryover of strategies across settings Maintain accurate records and timely documentation of services and student progress Attend IEP meetings and contribute professional insights for student success
