Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Two school-based Occupational Therapists are sought to fill contract positions within elementary settings near Glendale Heights, IL. Each assignment offers opportunities to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners, supporting their functional success throughout the school year. Position 1 involves two non-concurrent leaves at elementary schools, providing full-time occupational therapy services for a complete school year (35+ hours weekly). You'll deliver direct and consultative therapy, collaborating closely with educational teams to promote students' participation and independence in the classroom. Position 2 offers a full-time maternity leave coverage (October-April) at an elementary school, with a minimum of 35 hours per week, focusing on implementing IEPs, conducting assessments, and fostering a positive, productive therapy environment.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Current Illinois OT licensure Previous pediatric or school OT experience highly preferred Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to adapt to a fast-paced educational environment
