Key Qualifications:

Active and current Illinois Occupational Therapy (OT) license Previous experience in a school setting preferred Strong understanding of pediatric Occupational Therapy practices and interventions Excellent communication and collaborative skills when working with educators, families, and students Ability to manage caseloads efficiently, staying organized and adaptable to changing needs Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation standards Any additional Illinois state or district-specific certifications or clearances (e.g., PEL, background checks), as required

Core Responsibilities:

Deliver direct Occupational Therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals and individual needs Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, including teachers and school administrators, to support student development Conduct assessments and document evaluations, goals, and progress accurately and timely Provide recommendations for classroom modifications, adaptive equipment, and strategies to promote student success Offer guidance and resources to school staff and families to ensure ongoing support for students Attend IEP meetings and contribute professional insights and updates
