Key Qualifications:

Hold an active Illinois Occupational Therapist license (OTR/L) Previous experience working in school settings is required Comfortable serving a high school-aged caseload This opportunity is available to Occupational Therapists only (no COTAs) Ability to work onsite and effectively collaborate with education teams

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy services to high school students Assess and develop individualized treatment plans that address students' unique needs Collaborate with teachers, families, and specialty staff to integrate therapeutic strategies within the classroom Track and document student progress, maintaining compliance with all state and federal guidelines Support IEP meetings and participate in multidisciplinary team discussions Foster a positive, inclusive, and growth-oriented environment for students In this dynamic role, you'll cultivate positive relationships with students and school staff alike—contributing your expertise as a valued member of the educational team.
