First Opportunity:

Spanning two nearby elementary schools. Covers two non-concurrent leaves, ensuring continued support for students across both locations. Full school year assignment, providing schedule consistency and the chance to see meaningful student growth.

Second Opportunity:

Full-time coverage for a maternity leave from October through April. Located at an elementary campus, focused on providing comprehensive OT services during a key academic window. Supportive faculty and engaged students welcome your expertise.

Ideal candidates possess:

A valid Occupational Therapy license in Illinois. Previous experience with elementary-aged children, preferably in a school environment. Competency in implementing IEP goals, conducting assessments, and collaborating with educational teams. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to adapt interventions to meet diverse student needs.

Responsibilities include:

Delivering individual and group OT sessions according to student IEPs. Collaborating with teachers, special educators, and families. Participating in IEP meetings and student evaluations. Documenting progress and maintaining accurate records. Promoting student independence, motor skills, and classroom participation.
