Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a vital, school-based role supporting elementary and middle school students as an Occupational Therapist. This contract position provides full-time FMLA coverage from August 7, 2026 through October 15, 2026, with orientation scheduled for August 3 and 4. You'll be working onsite, delivering both resource-based and self-contained services within a vibrant educational community known for collaboration and support. You'll have seamless access to an experienced supervisor in your discipline, ensuring you receive ongoing professional guidance and problem-solving support. As a new hire, you'll benefit from our "Buddy Program," designed to enhance orientation and help you settle in with confidence. Our team ensures that all necessary equipment and testing materials are easily accessible to streamline your daily workflow.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy services and interventions to elementary and middle school students in both resource and self-contained settings Participate in IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in accordance with school standards Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists during monthly meetings, roundtable discussions, and regular check-ins Engage in region-wide networking through our innovative intranet platform Participate in performance reviews and ongoing process improvements to foster best practices
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a school-based OT preferred Ability to support both elementary and middle school populations Effective communication and collaboration skills Enthusiasm for ongoing professional development and teamwork Benefit from access to valuable professional development courses to grow your knowledge and skills specific to school-based occupational therapy.
