This part-time contract position allows you to apply your expertise onsite, offering flexibility with a 2 to 2.5 day work week throughout the 2026/2027 school year. You'll become an essential resource, helping students develop critical skills to succeed in their educational journey.
Required Qualifications:
Active Occupational Therapist license for the state of Illinois Experience or strong interest in school-based therapy Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams Passion for fostering student growth and independence
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized and group occupational therapy services to students based on their educational plans Conduct assessments and develop tailored intervention strategies Document progress, attend IEP meetings, and provide feedback to staff and families Consult with teachers and support staff to integrate therapy goals into the classroom setting Foster a positive, inclusive environment that encourages student engagement and participation
